I don't get any SETI@home tasks, only Einstein tasks. I registered in BOINC@TACC but they don't have any work available, so LHC@home and GPUGRID. But Science United is sending me thousands of Milkyway@home tasks, so I am busy. Tullio |

Interesting error task. Somehow it doesn't make sense that repeated attempts to transfer would fail. Must have been an error calculating the checksum when the WU was created? |

I've seen those fairly often. I always trumped it up to be too much I/O on the server and can't access the database to get the task properly served out. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Uh-oh.Yeah. Hi Grant, Yep, I was gonna do as you did, but now I don't have to. That's what I see in Events Log as well. About as many finished tasks too. Website and uploads are OK - it seems just to be Synergy. They might be able to solve that with a remote power cycle, or at the other end of the scale they might need to schedule a visit to the CoLo. |

I'll just be patient and continue reading "The Player of Games" by Iain M Banks. It's a bit too early CA time to expect any change in the next few hours. |

Greetings, Why is it that when I do something different in or with BOINC that something happens to SETI? It never fails. Am I a jinx? ;) Have a great day! :) Siran CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L. Looks like it is 7am in California, which is a bit early Sunday to expect anything. The seti system has a bunch of Aricebo and blc WUs ready to give us if they can figure out the communication problem. It isn't accepting or sending WUs which I thought those functions belonged to different machines. georgem, vader, and bruno. Anyway the rest of the system looks good and I guess we will just have to wait for the flood gates to open. |

Is this a practice session for Tuesday? Hi Betreger, I surely hope not, I'm out of GPU WUs. I have 50% of my CPU WUs left. :| Have a great day! :) Siran CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? "What a piece of junk!" - L. Yes, that happen to me this morning too. Reset project around 530am Eastern and proceed to slap my own face after finding out the servers are down and I once again forgot to check their status before resetting. My fastest computer is sitting idle its so strange not hearing the fans. |

It is now after 9am in California. Hopefully someone will be up soon to give a machine or two percussive maintenance. Has anyone sent a signal (bat signal?, chorus of meows??) to someone at seti? It is Sunday, and personally it isn't a problem for me, and I know we aren't guaranteed any WUs, but I'm sure they want to keep the project up as much as possible. |
