A YouTuber from the Netherlands in search of Area 51 in the Nevada desert was arrested Tuesday after he and another man entered a secure government area while filming, officials said.

The Area 51 "raid": Only 75 people showed up near the gates, only two arrests (and one wasn't even trying to sneak in.) So far only one person actually did try to enter, and was immediately arrested by civilian law enforcement, who thankfully are there to detain anyone foolish enough to attempt to enter before they have to deal with military law enforcement.

“It’s public land,” the sheriff said. “They’re allowed to go to the gate, as long as they don’t cross the boundary.”

Happy it turned out this well.
