What ever Trump touches dies.
Yes. He makes the Corona mess more worse. And he is spreading his mess to us other countries as well. Like a virus!

Question mark? I'm convinced that the Slovenian health agency doesn't agree at all. But politicians have other ideas of course.

The government of Slovenia now states as the first country in Europe that the epidemic in the country is over, reports Reuters. According to the authorities, fewer than seven confirmed cases per day have been found in the past two weeks.

While the U.S. has 1 of the worst public healthcare systems in the world Donny won't like this news.

Coronavirus drives health insurers back to Obamacare.

Health insurers fled the Affordable Care Act in the early years of the law, fearing that losses from covering too many sick people would eat away at their profits.

Now the insurers increasingly view Obamacare as a boon while job-based health coverage faces its biggest threat yet in a crashing economy.

Coronavirus Cases in Georgia, Florida Continue to Decline Despite Business Openings

"SO FAR" is correct.

BTW: In reference to the limitations of Trump, or any other President. regarding Funding for anything.

Since the Congress of the USA, as you pointed out, has the only real authority in this, I believe you know the following saying since the beginning of our Country:

The President Proposes and the Congress........ Disposes :-D
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

It amazes me how many times the subject has been discussed in this thread by the same participants and still there is no understanding the fact that the expenditures of the US Government are determined in CONGRESS.
Like when CONGRESS says spend money on military overseas and King Donald builds a wall?

... approved by the Congress, Not The President...

Is there not the debilitating trickery of year-long lumping unrelated funding items together into an unfathomable huge multi-TRILLIONs dollars conglomeration and then adding politicking, procrastinating, posturing, and brinkmanship panic, all such that the system is totally unworkable and disfunctional?

Meanwhile, lost amongst all that in small relatively insignificant twiddlings, the President dost play to great fanfare...

A recent example not to be forgotten is the Trump wall of Xenophobia Mexico...

And what else silliness?

They have the power to fund or de-fund ALL US Government expenditures. The House of Representatives are responsible under the Constitution for submitting and approving a budget each year. There have been a number of years (most under Democrat control) that no budget was approved or even submitted. Just 'continuing resolutions' of expenditure.

Though requested many times, the process of Presidential Line Item Veto has never been authorized(also a job of Congress), therefore any reductions in spending made to any agency or department was in the total control of, AND approved by the Congress, Not The President(no matter WHO was in office).

Is that supposed to be a distraction from Trump having 'defunded' the present "CDC" group that were responsible for coordinating for any pandemic?...
They may not have been completely defunded yet, but they've certainly been defenestrated.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/05/14/wisconsin-bars-reopen-evers/
“We’re the Wild West,” Evers told MSNBC’s Ali Velshi on Wednesday night, reacting to the state Supreme Court’s ruling and the scenes of people partying in bars all across Wisconsin. “There are no restrictions at all across the state of Wisconsin. … So at this point in time … there is nothing that’s compelling people to do anything other than having chaos here.”

What is the shock there? SCOTUS considers the entire USA to be the Wild West. Stare decisis. The USA is unchanged from 1776.
Letting lawyers run the country? How amoral.
