Now the republicans turn
You know, the non-adults judging by their leader in DC who don't believe in science and refuse to wear a mask.
Wearing mask? Yes they work for about some hours to protect virus spreading. Not using the same mask for days or weeks. A problem is that people have very much problem to avoid using their hands and fingers to correct them all the time. Which mean that you are spreading the virus anyway. If you believe in science read the only ONE study about how efficient masks are to protect you from viruses!

I wonder which security company is at the bottom of this scandal and is this why Victoria has such a big problem lately?

Security guards tasked with enforcing COVID-19 quarantine at Melbourne hotels 'had SEX with isolated guests and spread the virus across Victoria' - as the state grapples with a second wave and plunges back into lockdown.

Sorry about that source, but others are behind paywalls and the same goes for this little stat. The percentage of people quarantined here in N.S.W. refusing testing is 2% while down in Victoria that rises to 30% (there must be something in the water down there). :-O

Records have been broken today all over the world today with 196,901 new cases being reported in the last 24hrs with the U.S. leading the way with a record 51,097 healthily beating out Brazil's 44,884 while also passing 130,000 deaths, though Brazil did pass 60,000 deaths and still leads the daily count in this category.

4th placed India also put in another big day sending them past 600,000 cases and will have Russia's 3rd spot in about 6 days (maybe 5) while Peru (7th spot) has finally won the race with Chile to see who was going to get Spain's 6th spot first and then the U.K.'s 5th spot will be under threat. Mexico (11th) looks like they'll pass Iran (10th) before removing Italy from 9th place while Saudi Arabia (15th) looks set to pounce on Germany (14th), South Africa (17th) is ready to take out France (16th) and Colombia (20th and has become the 20th country to pass 100,000 cases) is set to jump over Canada (19th).

Egypt has knocked Sweden out of 23rd spot with Argentina ready to knock them back to 25th while Turkey has become the 14th country to pass 200,000 cases, but there are many other countries still on the rise and a lot of those are coming from countries that have opened up far too soon with far too little testing and tracing done sadly.

Yes. Sweden have now problem to keep it up in the Tour de Corona. But as always there are a breakaway team at the early stages and it's a long way still to go. Rumors tell us that many teams are cheating or hiding numbers though. Let's see what happens when we go for the
Second Wave. Many of the major contestants are still in the peleton...

I think a certain president would like this story from Sweden.
From Västernorrland a region with zero covid-19 patients in the ICU. But of course there are many more patients and care takers...
https://www.svt.se/nyheter/lokalt/vasternorrland/over-6000-farliga-ansiktsskydd-delades-ut-till-vardpersonal-i-regionen
At least 6,080 dangerous masks were purchased and handed out to the staff who cared for suspects and confirmed covid-19 patients. The region relied on certificates, certificates and tests from the Chinese supplier.
Many of the incorrectly and suspected misleading labeled masks pass through three times as much as the standard allows, some almost ten times more.

Another (for all the wrong reasons) record breaking day with over 208,000 new cases reported worldwide with the U.S. doing it's worst by reporting over 57,000, Brazil almost 48,000, almost 22,000 in India and over 8,700 in South Africa. :-O

The U.K. is now down to 8th spot, Saudi Arabia has put Germany back to 15th while South Africa dumped France back to 17th and Colombia passed Canada for 19th place.

Meanwhile Mexico has just put their numbers in for the new day which cements them 10th spot displacing Iran and in 24hrs they'll displace Italy from 9th.

Here in Australia we've become the 72nd country to rack up 8,000 cases with Victoria still running a riot down there and trying hard to export cases outside its borders which is all coming back to these rorting security companies running those quarantine centres there. :-(

I really hope the population of the UK are sensible as the restrictions ease otherwise we will so easily bounce back up the list of dishonour again.

Another record breaking day for the last 24hr period with over 209,000 new cases being reported worldwide so the surge is on as the total count passes 11 million while deaths pass 529,000.

Mexico also just posted new case numbers that cemented 9th place for them and are now lining up the U.K. as their next victim while Argentina not only swept past Sweden (putting them back into 25th place again), but they also dumped Egypt out of 23rd place, and Indonesia along with Ecuador join the 60,000 case club.

While down here N.S.W. has added 189 historic cases associated with crew members on board a cruise ship that docked here from early-mid April (has the Ruby Princess bitten us yet again? No name was given as to which ship was involved, but the timeline does gel) taking our state's count to reported 3,400 cases and Australia's count up to 8,225 (we still stay in 72nd though place for a country ranked 55th by pop.), but out of today's count of 6 for the state 5 are quarantines while the other was an escapee from the Victorian system who worked in a major supermarket in an inner Sydney suburb. :-(

It also looks like that all remaining games in our AFL games will be played out outside their home state of Victoria this year.

Well I don't care what our P.M. says, but Victoria really needs to be shut down as they've now thrown in a 108 new case day (and the day isn't over yet). :-O

If fact, then some politicians need to return to school.
His spokesman told me he flew straight back to Britain on the same day.
Dear Ed Davey, The police have better things to do, you sad little man. Getting an officer to go to Nigel's house to tell him he shouldn't have gone to the pub is a total waste of resources and makes you look like a pathetic, attention-seeking twerp."

Well India stampeded over Russia and into 3rd place by reported case and Mexico has now overtaken France and Spain while also becoming the 5th country to pass 30,000 reported deaths. :-O

Meanwhile here down under the Victorian border with N.S.W. will be finally closed at midnight tomorrow night leaving the southern state in total isolation after it just recorded 127 new cases and 1 death in the last 24hrs. :-(

Well, here in Florida, after a partial reopening of impacted businesses, the number of new cases have skyrocketed. Governor says schools will reopen for the fall semester. Unfortunately school age children are sickness magnets and distributors.

California tried to open, but too many think it is fake and refused to wear a face covering. California closed again. At least California will have workers for the jobs when it is over, unlike the red belt which will be driven deeper into poverty.
