It is possible to convert the data into an audio channel, but it is just white noise to the human ear. We are screening potential signals to sort out any that may be worthy of further investigation. If one of the files we process contains a "real" signal we wouldn't hear about it for some time as there is a whole lot of further processing and confirmation that has to take place. If you want to know more have a look at the "nebula" thread (https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_forum.php?id=1511) where the next step of the process is being developed and discussed. You now have one completed and validated task, with a few more sitting around waiting to run. Generally BOINC will send completed work back to the servers automatically, but it can take some time to do it depending exactly on your settings....
