I don't normally reply to my own posts but...
...the past 8 months have been annoying to say the least.
There's an old saying - It gets worse before it gets better. In our case, that was true.
7th Sept we received not one but two notice of enforcements. The 1st for an odd amount that we could not reconcile with either our accounts program or the statement forwarded by the council earlier in the year. The 2nd was for the full amount for the current years bill.

WTF?

Contacted the bailiffs but unfortunately got the usual bovine excrement. Contacted the council 1st thing the following Monday morning. Call lasted 41 minutes. Much of that time was attempting to get clarity from the person at the other end. Her final comment - "That's too much information to put in the account notes, so please forward it by e-mail" The silly bit*h had accessed my account so the information should already be on the screen. Sadly, was left with no option but to take legal action.

Received 2 letters this morning, both from the council. 1st was an explanation of how the errors were made & that they had been rectified but no apology. The 2nd, well it's content had both my partner & I dancing in the lounge with my stereo on full blast. The track being played was the Bobby Fuller Four's:

One thing is just making it "Credo" for only just thinking in God, for making it the initial moment of Creation, except still rather
making it the physical Laws we already know, for only such a thing.

Of course the play of the game, for just only the day, could still be believing in just "Little Green Men", for only a hairy creature
from Alpha Centauri, but if still rather setting sail, for just an undertaking being made, it could be something quite different.

If perhaps making it a single whole, for only adding both Logic and Probability into a single context, which should be meant for
the Universe, next we also could be making similar Conclusions for only its possible meaning, when perhaps intended for such.

Here that of Logical assumptions, which also became Tacit such as well, except for only just the morning cup of coffee,
for also a bit of system hang, when it should be intended meaning for just the Universe.

A child could be still carried in the stomach of just a woman, except not sitting on any leap, for just breast-feeding,
but rather we made it perhaps an acceptance for only our subject, in that we could perhaps believe in the alien presence.

Any such thing as readily acceptance, and next also "as is" as well, except for still not any directly proven, of course.

Interesting new study. Perhaps to be overturned by a newer study. Which will perhaps be overturned by another newer study. And on, and on, and on, and on.

Was it a new study?
I understand that it was an examination of a group of previous studies by statisticians. They concluded that the increases in the health problems was very minimal.
An example given;

This analysis and those that have gone before have highlighted similar risks and it is worth noting the report's authors point out: "We're not saying there is no risk."

But the question of whether reducing red meat is going to make a difference to any one individual is very difficult.

For example, about six out of every 100 people in the UK develop bowel cancer at some point in their lives.

If they all ate an extra 50g (1.7oz) of bacon a day, then the estimate is the figure would go up to seven in 100.

But what no-one can tell you is whether you will be that one extra case.

I would imagine that the statistical risk of meat-eating (ie from the saturated fat) is probably offset by other diet and lifestyle choices, especially avoidance of excessive sugars, and regular exercise.

Why would red meat have a higher cancer risk then other meat? Makes no sense. Are there any studies about it?
I guess there are but are they conclusive?
The only thing I can think about is how the meat is cooked. Usually you fry read meat more often and the frying produce stuffs like acrylamide.
A more simple advice is to eat varied, avoid roasting and grilling food and do not eat burnt foods. The higher the temperature and the longer the cooking time used for frying, oven cooking, frying in oil and grilling, the more acrylamide is formed.
