If I were to be dying and my last few days were nigh.
What would you have to say to me after all these years?
Or what would you say about me after I have left?
It might help if you said it now.

Meow?

A very long time ago I started a thread called "My Epitaph."

It was just a light thread that people could put in their own epitaphs or if we knew someone well and they didn't mind we could have fun writing epitaphs for them.

Kitty you are part of this forum and have been a great source of thought and humanity.

I would think fondly of you and miss your continuing life adventures.

I would miss you.

If we could take all the good thoughts we had about you and make an epitaph your tomb stone would need to be a mile high.

.... but then there are all the crazy stuff you do... Now that might need a second tomb stone :)~ <Smiles and sticks cheeky tongue out.> :)~

My epitaph to the world would be.

"We are an oxymoron. We call ourselves mankind, yet we can't be kind to man"

I'd go for something like Spike Milligan's epitaph "I told you I was ill".....

If you are changing your living status. Please feel free to do so. But only after the kitties are gone or other care has been provided for them.

What would I say about Mark......
It all depends:
He made it to claim his coffee voucher from me :-)
or
He didn't make it to claim his coffee voucher from me :-(

(Mark knows what I'm talking about - I hope)

I am fine. Sort of.
My main rig destroyed itself with a coolant leak.
And when I restarted an old war horse to get back online with, I had networking problems with my modem.
Took days to sort it. Not even sure what was wrong, but it started connecting again.

Thank you for noticing my absence. It was not intentional.
I am still quite alive and well in kittyland.

Meow.

One minute it is working, the next it is down.
So, don't panic if I disappear for a while again.
The way this is going, I don't know from one minute to the next if I will be online.

Well......ATT just called me to tell me they were having equipment problems and they are working on it.
And for the moment I am up.
They said they had over 100 trouble tickets, so I am not alone.

Theoretically, but why fight for a few days out of a monthly bill..........a few dollars.
I'll just be happy when I no longer have to wonder it any hit on the enter key goes forth or stops dead.
It's maddening starting to doubt one's own hardware in the midst of my problems when trying to untangle it only to learn that the ISP is throwing their own wobblys into the mix.
Dang the bad luck.
And not to diss ATT. My service in general is pretty realiable and rock solid.
This would be considered an outlier.
