Really, is this a worthwhile solution? Sizewell C: Boris Johnson 'confident' nuclear plant will go ahead wrote: ... The project, which is being developed by French energy company EDF, is estimated to cost about £20bn overall... We can expect that price to at least double to £40,000 Million pounds. That huge sum is enough instead to completely rewire our entire National Grid and max us all out on wind and tidal power and power storage systems to allow us to go completely pollution free. Better yet, going wind and tidal can be accomplished in less than 10 years to quickly benefit us sooner rather than too late. In contrast, the nuclear power build is going to take multiple decades to make it very expensively very late to the party to trap us with expensively outdated old tech... Is this really such a good idea?... Or just jobs for the boys?? I hope you like food from crustaceans. Crab and lobster shells could be used to make renewable batteries |

At last! A taste of reality: Dutch city of Haarlem may be world’s first to ban most meat ads wrote: Haarlem in The Netherlands is set to ban most meat ads from public spaces because of the food's climate impact... As is all too often, we have Big Business against the world and our planet. At least their excuses are totally pathetic on this one. Something good to catch on and spread far and wide?... Or are meat eaters willfully blind and "unaware"?... All on our only one planet... A failed solution? Special Report: How U.S. ethanol plants are allowed to pollute more than oil refineries WASHINGTON, Sept 8 (Reuters) - In 2007, the U.S. Congress mandated the blending of biofuels such as corn-based ethanol into gasoline. One of the top goals: reducing greenhouse gas emissions. |

A failed solution? Same as 99.9% of the ideas to reduce carbon. |

It's a huge undertaking, but it needs to be done. To find old methane-leaking oil wells, researchers look to history. But finding the hundreds of thousands of them won't be easy. |

A failed solution? A lot of so called carbon reducing solutions are actually carbon exporting solutions that allow the greens to claim 'it's all clean here' |

And Yet, I'm Breathing BEAUTIFULLY. CO2 is not very toxic other than by simply replacing oxygen at high concentrations. We're at about 417ppm right now. The highest Earth has even seen is about 6,000ppm prior to the Carboniferous, and we could survive in that. Bear in mind, in those conditions there would not be a trace of sea-level ice or permafrost anywhere, the oceans would be about 100m higher, as was the case in the Devonian. This is close to undeniable, as it has already happened before and is simply geography/elevation and volume, rather than requiring prediction. I'll skip any predictions of temperature lol. I am amazed how much of China disappears... |

Why has this take oh so long?... Australia's most-polluting coal plant to shut decade earlier than planned wrote: Australia's dirtiest power plant - responsible for more than 3% of the country's emissions - will shut a decade earlier than planned. Why not sooner? Elon Musk already has the proven grid-changing tech (for just one example)... All on our only one planet... Why not sooner?Because the actual grid needs to be fixed 1st which our previous coal loving government didn't want to do. ;-) |

You get rid of an out of touch fossil fuel loving government and it's just amazing how quickly things start to change, but trying to catch up on a decade of stupid neglect and denial will be a challenge. Australia's great energy transition reaches a 'tipping point' as clock winds forward for coal. And it seems like hardly a week goes by now where some new renewable energy producing resource isn't announced here. |

Excellent news. Now with the fake green gone we can get down to the only real solution; depopulation. |

Why is this not more in the news? See how this Florida town survived Ian unscathed wrote: CNN's Bill Weir reports from a solar-powered Florida town that endured Hurricane Ian with no loss of power and minimal damage. How can the (greedy?) builders in the surrounding areas get everything so badly wrong?... And be allowed to get their construction so expensively damagingly badly wrong?... They just keep on getting better. A wind turbine just smashed a global energy record—and it's recyclable. The new offshore turbine could power a Model 3 Tesla for over 1 million miles. |
