It's a thread for all Cafe style.

If you had the chance to share or beam out something to aliens that wasn't scientific or ordinary boring stuff what might it be.

Personally I think ET or Klatu might like this....

Prince Buster - One Step Beyond

I did wonder if they would like my old stinky socks but then I realised some of them have no toes.

What would you share with ET?

(It's a Cafe thread so don't be boring or technical. Be fun.)

What would you share with ET?

Vogon poetry, they wouldn't be staying very long.

Poetry readings down your end sound like a blast.

Invite the aliens, Get them to bring some beer. Then read them some Vogon poetry and watch them run or melt away.

That's what Southerner's call a cheap date?. :)~ <Hehehe>

:) ... However the aliens in this thread need entertaining :) ...

What would you share with ET... or entertain them with if they just came down to visit you and only you?

For a good laugh I'd show them the politics forum at Seti....

No point in sending an army to invade us then :)

...What would you show them?

If they dropped into my house for tea then my favourite melodic punk tunes of course.

.. and if they were hell bent on annihilate the human race after hearing my music I might try to lull them with some homemade pancakes, loads of butter and fruit syrup.

If that didn't impress them (or if they were veogon) I could try doing some precisely mastered cart wheels but I would probably bash my noggin and dislocate my arms and legs.

The earth would be doomed.

You can always tell when you are in southern England, they have fruit in bowls on the sideboard when nobody is ill.

I thought that a Northern thing too. It kind of has the cultural idea that "all is well" in the house if you can display fruit.

Plastic or plaster fruit is interesting.

Goes along with the front room unused except for guests and funerals :)

Quite 1950s (via Victorianisms.) Then end of the 70s people knocked the rooms into one only to by the 80-s90s knock them back into two again.

At least we know we have a room for ET to come visit in and eat a little fruit.

I do have a bag of Mediterranean dried apricots on a stainless steel utility cart between the kitchen and dining area.

Well textured and painted "plaster" fruit mixed in with real fruit can add to the dentist's wealth.....
