Thanks for that...

... And just: Wow!

That wipes out that service then for the convenient benefit of Ligado.

Is that yet another bomb of destruction left by Trump's Ajit Pai?...

Elon should've just stuck to his electrical and space businesses as he has shot himself in both feet with his train wreck Twitter takeover.

‘Musk’s Own Behavior’ Is the Real Reason Advertisers Say They Are Ditching Twitter, Not ‘Activist Group’ Pressure.

Musk Could Be Fined Half a Million Dollars Every Day Over Twitter Cull.

It seems that I'm not the only 1 who thinks that Elon should stick to his rockets and cars, but he doesn't like the truth.

Musk quick to correct Hulk star Mark Ruffalo.

And so much for free speech.

Musk imposes permanent ban on celebrities impersonating him on Twitter

Meanwhile Suckerberg is getting in on the layoff wagon as well.

Thousands of jobs are expected to go at Meta after the parent company of Facebook and Instagram reported its profit had more than halved.

It doesn't help when a lot of the adds are actual scams.

A court says an employee who refused to keep a webcam switched on was wrongly fired. He was awarded around $72,000 USD in compensation.

The man, whose name was not revealed in the case, worked remotely in the Netherlands for a Florida-based IT company called Chetu.

After working in the role for almost three years, he was told to take part in a "Corrective Action Program - Virtual Classroom." This involved keeping a webcam switched on throughout his nine-hour working day. (Source: bbc.co.uk)

The employee refused to do so, arguing that he was already sharing his screen with management and thus they could already adequately monitor his work. He argued that keeping the camera on was an invasion of his privacy.

I'm glad to hear that one individual has had the "moral strength" (other phrases may be used) to fight the big-brother attitudes of far too many employers. Just because it is possible to do something (monitor an employee in this case) it does not mean you should (either morally or legally).

It looks like Elon is going to get acquainted with the words "loser" and "bankruptcy" really soon at the rate he's going.

Musk sacks outsourced Twitter moderators hired to track hate and other harmful content.

Between all the sackings, resignations and advertisers leaving the platform there won't be anything left of Twitter.

Is Elon's water being delivered through lead pipes?

To save money, Elon announced he was turning off "unnecessary microservices." Unfortunately, one of them was the service that sends out 2FA codes so no one could log on. Oops. :^p

Google fined yet again
No worries, their advertisers paid the fine.
And location services help Google generate $200bn in annual advertising revenue.

Baby boomers can’t stop staring at their phones
Everyone struggles to put down their phones, but some families have had enough

Sadly, I see the SAME THING at my family gatherings.

Thanksgiving is a bit more than 1 week away and the "older generation (50+ age group) will be the primary offenders... sitting at the dinner table with cellphone in their laps or next to the dinner plates texting/IMing each other. .. grandkids and great grandkids being ignored if the try to verbally converse with the parents.

...“A classic case of adult onset Tourette’s.”...
Is that what's behind Elon gutting a company into bankruptcy?

Musk fires more Twitter staff after spying on private Slack chats.

He be in a lot of trouble with Industrial Relations if he pulled that sort of crap here.

I wonder if Elon will wind up having to run Twitter all by himself.

Twitter’s head of France resigns amid Musk’s shakeup.

Why is it that people just don't want to work for you these days Elon?

It seems that Alex Jones' account isn't the only 1 that Elon hasn't reactivated.
