Two mornings of 22°c, and only getting up to 33°. And the humidity is well below 50%. While warmer than usual, the Dry has finally arrived. Grant Darwin NT |

We took a break this morning from the chilly and/or frosty starts with an overcast 9C (felt like 7C) start here in the highlands. While we should experience a partly cloudy day it's expected to reach 18C. Tomorrow and Friday are expected to go back to frosty starts and then we could get some rain on the weekend. Cheers. |

After a few days of normal autumn weather here we got some more rain yesterday afternoon and evening, 25.25mm in fact taking our total for this year to 476mm. Sunday kicked off here at a gloomy 9C, but the sun is out now and it's 14C with 17C expected, but we'll be back to frosty starts tomorrow. Anyhow I've still got to wait another 20mins before I can get the grinder out and clean up all the pieces of steel that I've cut over the last 2 days so that they're ready for welding back together. Cheers. |

We had frosty 0C (felt like -2C) start here yesterday and a frosty 0C (felt like -3C) today. A sunny 15C was expected yesterday, but we only made it to 14C (felt like 11C) so no work got done outside, while an overcast 16C is expected today along with the same chilly easterly breeze. So it looks like my metalworking won't get finished today either, but a change in wind direction to the west tomorrow will have my sunny work spot at the front of my shed out of the wind, with this chilly easterly blowing straight up my driveway. Cold steel, a chilly wind and numb fingers don't make for a good combination. Cheers. |

We got off to a 2C (felt like -3C) start here in the highlands today and that SW wind is coming straight off the snow that has been falling down south this morning. We may get to 10C today, but we havn't been doing to well of late getting to our forecast maximums. Cheers. |

A very unusual few days here. After weeks of above average minimums & maximums (around 4°c, and more), we've had a strong dry S-SW wind blowing, with rain showers & rain coming in from the NW, effectively resulting in a giant evaporative cooler. Today we went from am overnight minimum of 21°c up to 24°c with the RH around 70% This time of the year 19° to 29° with the RH around 30% or lower is the norm. another cold day tomorrow xpected, then as next week progresses it should be back to dryer & warmer temperatures again, although only a few degrees above average than the 4 or more we had been getting. 7C (felt like 2C) was the best that we could do here today, but we did get 18.75mm of rain taking our yearly total to 494.75mm so far. The forecast for this weekend isn't looking any better temp range wise, but Sunday may provide a bit more rain (or sleet or snow). Cheers. |

Well the weather lately has been pretty ordinary for this time of year with very little sunshine to be seen with a far too cool a wind blowing, but at least a few drops of rain have been falling here this morning with more expected during the day, a possible storm this afternoon and possible snow flurries this evening and overnight. But this isn't getting my 2 back awnings/porches finished. Cheers. |

For our 2nd day of winter here in the highlands down under I can tell you all that it was a real crap day. Even though it was a mostly sunny day here there was no heat in it as 8C was the best that we could do and with that gale blowing in off the snow down south it felt more like -1C to 1C during that 90 minutes. :-( -3C is expected in here in the morning, but weather is suppose to be a lot better tomorrow. Cheers. |

The Dry season has finally kicked in here. Still a few degrees above average, but the RH has finally dropped away to 50% overnight & way, way less during the day. So its now it's cold mornings with nice comfortable days, although it has been a bit blowy and is expected to continue to be so for another day or two. Looking at around 20°c to 32°c for the next week or so. Grant Darwin NT |

It's a frosty -2C (feels like -4C) here this morning while 13C is expected and I hope that that wind stays away today. Cheers. |

The weather turned out well yesterday and the house's back door awning/porch frame got finished (it reached 13C, felt like 10C, but at least I was in the sun) and even though today started off at a frosty 2C (felt like -2C) and we reached 13C here again that wind had returned making it feel like 8C in the shade. It felt colder than that at the back door of my shop/flat which is in continual shade at this time of year and that wind was cutting straight through me so I didn't get as far as I wanted to there today. The next few days here are expected to be even better than yesterday so hopefully I'll get some better progress in as well (-2/3C to 14-15C with no wind, just a lite breeze instead, is the forecast over those days). Cheers. |

After a few spring like and productive days where the mercury reached 18C and our overnight low of 10C (felt like 8C) when I went to bed at 6.30pm last night, but from then on the temp went steadily upwards until the first lot of heavy rain woke me at midnight as the mercury had reached 12C and by sunrise this morning it had reached 14C (felt like 12C) with heavy rain constantly falling. We received 33mm by 9:30am (it was far to wet and windy at 9am, but we did reach our expected max of 15C then) and as hard as I tried this morning I could not stop the shed's 22,500L water tank from overflowing. At least the weather for the next few days is looking autumn like and hopefully I may get another social distancing project completed. Cheers. |

We passed last year's rainfall total a few months back and we've now passed 2018's 532.5mm clocking up 538mm and the next target is 2015's 757mm. Cheers. |

Monday kicked off here in the highlands down under at a frosty 0C (felt like -3C) as we try for a max of 10C. It's expected to be partly cloudy day with a NW wind and a slight chance of showers with possible snow flurries at around 1100m and above (there's a several hills around here that may wind up with some white stuff on them, after the frost goes). Cheers. |

Well we didn't get any snow here over the last few days, but damn it was bloody cold and miserable. Monday's temp range was a frosty 0C (felt like -3C) to 10C (felt like 3C). Tuesday's was 3C (felt like -1C) to 6C (felt like 0C). Wednesday's (yesterday) was 3C (felt like 0C) to 10C (felt like 5C). We also reached 546.75mm of rain for this year. Today kicked off here at a frosty -2C (felt like -6C) while a sunny 14C is expected so I maybe able to get back outside and get back to my welding. Cheers. |

I just brought the garbage bin in and even though it's sunny it's still a frosty 2C (feels like -1C) outside after kicking off here at a frosty 0C (felt like -3C), but 15C is expected. Cheers. |

Well we've had a four very miserable days and snow in the hills around here the last 2 mornings, but this was taken just south of Sydney this morning in this wild weather. Reverse and self feeding waterfalls. Cheers. |
