Saw this in town today. Think I will buy a ticket for a flight tomorrow.

Saw these too, but they are not selling tickets.

I decided one day I'll be getting a used 2018+ Nissan Leaf or Leaf Plus if I can, one with at least a 150 mile battery range, Nissan replacement batteries can be financed from 12 months to 60 months, I have a ChargePoint card on the way which is FREE and can be linked to a bank account or any debit or credit card or to Paypal, ChargePoint locations have DC Fast or Quick Chargers also known as Level3 Chargers, Level3 chargers are very handy while away from home, some ChargePoint locations are FREE, though most charge at home. For the Leaf Level3 charging became standard in 2013 using the Chademo plug. Carmax sells Leafs which I read have a 10yr warranty.

I also found out the average to insure a Leaf is $866 a year for full coverage, though I have not found out what My insurance company would charge since they are closed until Monday. I have plug share on My phone and I'd need just a weather proof 240v single phase Level2 outlet under the carport to charge the car with the 6.6KW built in charger.

In 2017 the Leaf Battery was $5,499.00, in 2019 I've read the cost has fallen to $5,000.00, like most electronics the cost will continue to fall as adoption rates go up.

No NEW Gasoline(Petrol) and Diesels by 2032 in Scotland and 2040 in the UK and the EU.

It's not so much a dream, the state of California does have a Clean Vehicle Grant Program from the California Air Resources Board(CARB), the earlier version went up to $9,500.00 and I am under an obligation to apply for it asap. And $9,500.00 would in a few years make it very affordable for Me, so it's not a dream. Since it's a weekend, there is no reason for Me to try and call to ask about the Waiting List, like when it will be open again.

FYI the CARB grant is on a new or new to CA cars with less than 7,000 miles and for 2019 it's limited to $7,000. Also curious, who are you obligated to?

The SSA said I should apply for stuff like this. So they reduced it? Leafs can have as little as about 1,000 miles on the odometer since the Chevy Bolt EV came out, which has a 238 mile range.

Some parts were are missing from My car, a mechanic that no longer works there had some stolen goods on Him and the shop fired Him and they'd just hired the guy(but they did not bail Him out), the current Mechanic I've known for years, so they are waiting on a vacuum hose and spark plug wires, then they get to start the car. Being My car is 20yrs old, some parts have to be ordered, not everything for My car is in stock locally. I went there on the idea that the car was going to be done today, so the shop paid $20 for gas, good thing, cause My ride was low on gasoline for Her minivan.

This 2018 Nissan Leaf S (Specs) is a 2018 Leaf model S for $22,998.00, before fees of $3,750.00 and $849.00 to move it from Chicago to the Carmax nearest to Me.

Charge Port view.
