Thanks for the win Carlos.

Winning number is written down.

The rules
------------

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.)
6. No double posts. Violator buys a round for the house in Rocky's.
7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post)

Don`t forget to have fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot...

CONGRATS, Mike!!!!! 😀

(In my defense, I haven't been myself for a couple of days. I was notified on Thursday that a good friend of mine, (and wife of another friend of mine), passed away on the 15th. Complications of head and neck Cancer. If I disappear for awhile, you all know why. I'm quite depressed. She was only 48.)

The website HardOCP.com has stopped reporting tech news, though the Hard Forum is still up.

Has it not occurred to you Vic, that the garage has already done a lot of work on your behalf simply on trust, without any payment. Perhaps they are waiting for the first installment of $100 towards the bill to show goodwill, before they do any more. One simple phone call would confirm the situation.

I had made a substantial down payment as they asked Back in February 2019 with no hesitation and I signed a work order and they have the car keys, they don't work for free and I've always paid My bills and they have said so. Being curious I've made several calls, and found out thru sometimes bad cell phone connections, that there is a insistent female "customer" there, who has not signed a work order and has threatened the shop with going to the BAR to force the place to work on Her car that someone broke into and such, the shop is hoping to get this non paying person to either signup or go away and no this "customer" has no legal leg to stand on with the BAR, BAR is the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. I even went out and bought an Engine Mount for $19.38 total and yes it is the correct part I was told, so no further parts are needed, just a mechanic to finish up work on the car. Any further payments would be after the work is done under CA law and not in advance.
