How low will you go?

Anything you consider as kitsch is OK as long as you like it.

It doesn't have to be low art.

Kitsch is everywhere.

Music, any art, video, poetry, books ... almost any form of style is acceptable.

Even photos of those flying ducks above your hearth count :)

I will start with a song I think is kitsch but...

The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star

I just love the song.

It noted a moment where VHS (or betamax) tapes came into play.

Other than that it was a rather useless song.

The woman in the pink was a boyhood fantasy.

There were quite a few songs from this period where the singers \ actors never looked at the camera.

They all seemed disinterested.

Still I like it.

Other than that it was a rather useless song.

Well, it's historically important as it was the first video ever played on MTV. It is admittedly kitschy though.

I have three Lomonosov raccoons frolicking on the ledge above my kitchen sink.

Value? Next to nothing. Kitsch? Absolutely!

Don't care. I still like them.
