I can't remember . . . . . Wiggo did you state you were going to hold off adding the -nobs parameter after your RAC stabilized?
Yep, other than changing the checkpoints to 6mins I'll see how the "out of the box" goes first before doing any changes.

I must have my baselines set 1st Keith, which is also why my 3570K rig is still on Win7 and waiting for its bits of my early birthday present to myself. ;-)

Cheers.

My Social Demograpghic wiew sees a 2.5 times more RAC.

A nice move. No harm done.

Some would say it must be a green act. A "Sociogreenleftwingattack" against a free will to compute and a plot to shut down the whole idea of computing at free will with out a freedom to choose a 'greener' alternative and an intent to use less power to achieve a toaster a lot faster.

I'm still waiting for mine.

No but at least one or two of my systems have that old standby "the coffee cup holder".

You know, the Cd-Rom tray extended.

At the end of day 10 my 2500K rig's RAC has passed 50.8K, 771.6K credits, 120th by RAC and rough maths now works out to an expected RAC of around 77.1K.

Cheers.

Cheers.

Good going Wiggo. Your little engine keeps chugging along. Wonder where it will end up eventually. Months down the road with how RAC works.

Thanks Keith, I've been keeping my eye on Vyper's dual 3GB 1060 rig (currently in 70th spot by RAC) and I think that I can better that. ;-)

Do I see, GASP, competition?

ROFLing.

I did look up that machine, and it has a smaller/slower cpu than you so OF COURSE you can out crunch him :)

After 2 weeks of running Mint my 2500K has made it to 80th spot by RAC (it'll hit a 70K RAC today) and a 4th day with over 100K worth of work returned while I've made it to 102nd by total RAC.

You know the next thing you'll have to do is replace those 1060's with something faster. I replaced 2 of mine with GTX 1660 Ti's and they seem to really be faster.

They're in the GTX 1080/ Titan X ballpark, but using less power.

Nah, I've still got the parts from my early B/Day prezzie to myself left to go into my 3570K rig yet Mark. ;-)
