I have been getting this error constantly & continually: SETI@home: Notice from BOINC Your current settings do not allow tasks from this project. To fix this, you can change Project Preferences on the project's web site. 3/7/2019 14:18:48 HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phil, WF3W |

Go to your account project preferences settings on the website and make sure you have enabled cpu or gpu tasks for your preferences and that you are allowing the cpu to be used. If you have restricted the cpu usage when the computer is in use, that could be the reason for the error. Also you can control BOINC via two different mechanisms. The global one is via the projects web page preferences. The other way is through the BOINC Manager and the local Computing preferences. You can select local preferences or defer to web based preferences in the Computing preferences page in the Manager. Go to your account project preferences settings on the website and make sure you have enabled cpu or gpu tasks for your preferences and that you are allowing the cpu to be used. This is correct, the only thing stopping the project getting tasks is if he doesn't allow the right hardware resource to fetch work, most probably the GPU. Local preferences and global computing preferences don't do work fetch. |
