My demised alter ego has advised me that they passed 20 years on 19th November 2020. Will Muriel Miggins ever be mine? |

21 years last month. What has happened since my last WU? Nothing much, just the Arecibo radio telescope crashing to earth. Perhaps Congress will shake some money loose from their wasteful ways and build a new version. |

Carlos, Thanks for creating the SETI 20 Year Club avatar. It looks GREAT. I changed it a 'little' to a black back ground to add it to my Boinc Signature. I am PROUD to be part of the 20 Year Club. Thanks again for your effort and giving me a SETI 'Badge Of Honor' for my signature. Best, Mike My signature(s): https://signature.statseb.fr/sig-1953.png https://boincstats.com/signature/-1/user/788/sig.png |

I just realized it's been over 21 years for me. Jesus...where has the time gone? Good question! Time flies, especially when you're enjoying good fun!! Strictly noting, I've another few months to run yet for this account to hit the two decades mark. However: I first encountered s@h at Manchester University (UK) sometime in the 1990's (will have to check back on some old logs to see when) whilst running some silicon chip cell placement tests on a Sun workstation. The runs were taking far longer than expected... A s@h task was running in the background stealing too much memory!!... There was a kindly note posted that explained the s@h task and gave an internal number: Phoning up - the researcher helping the s@h cause (Mario W) kindly excluded my machine from the list of machines running those early experimental days of the s@h project. Many adventures have been had since...! Keep searchin'! Martin See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

14 May 1999, a long long time ago. Still living in Coralville Iowa then. Still chrunching, and waiting for Seti to come back.. Sedge if by chance an honest man like yourself were to make enemies, they would become my enemies. and then they will fear you. |
