Fascism, Communism. Socialism, et al are the enemy of the people.
And are you thinking of National Socialism somehow?
Hm... I wonder if there is a National Capitalism political branch...
Got it! The United States of America. MAGA:)
MAGA? Does that mean that countries like Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Venezuela will be great again as well?

We've interfered ... we've worked to make those 3 ... those 4 Mexican countries great for decades! Just look at the excellent job we're doing so far!

From the amount of foreign investment that flows into the US I would say a very large percentage of the human population worships at the temple of the almighty 'Green' dollar.

Where else are you going to get interest? Many in the EU and Japan get to pay the banks for the privilege of keeping their wealth in them. It's called 'negative interest'.

Yes. Like in my country.
But for heavens sake. It's not because of socialism. It's because of CAPITALISM!
Although the Riksbank in December 2018 chose to raise the repo rate from -0.50% to -0.25%, February 2019 marks a four-year period with negative repo rate which to date is still below zero.
I hope you do know that banks are NOT socialist.

Btw. The Griswold family didn't have that discussion that you portray:)

Point being moomin, the preferred medium of exchange for commerce and wealth retention and growth is the good ole' AMERICAN dollar. Not the Yen, the Pound Sterling, the Euro or any other currency available. The reason is stability. Even OPEC and Iran prefer $$$$$.

Are you sure it isn't the Bitcoin? Can't trace that so the NSA/CIA/MI5/MI6/FSB/KGB/3 letter types don't know who is paying who and how much.

Only if anonymity and portability are vastly more important than stability. So, yeah... for criminals. Not for legitimate business.

Bitcoin is so unstable these days it lost $1,800 in just ten minutes on Wednesday.
