And then they adjust the clocks again, and you have to go to work in the dark again.

I know how that feels, worked in Shetland Isles 60 degrees north, which is nearly as far north as Anchorage, for 2 and a bit years.

i checked the temperature...35F
just shy of thundersnow.
i opened the blinds today...
the trees are blooming....
the sinus apocalypse is here!

...not quite true, there are some quite pleasant groups of small trees cowering in the glens, and they are planting more, including using monster poly tunnels to get them started!.

(If you can call 20m tall Sitka "small")

Not a problem the next weather pattern of rain, probably within 3 hours, will clean it off.

June would be a good time - one doesn't need to burn the midnight oil(lamp) as it never really gets dark.

Not quite so good in December when it barely gets light.

I always love north of 60, Yukon territories,
also June Light 24 hours,
in my younger days did mineral prospecting,
stake mining, sell them to mining Co,
my Grandfather was there in 1899 . . . Klondike Gold Rush
came home broke, and staked farm homestead, 160 acres, Saskatchewan,
that was a, Long . . . Long Time ago . . . . .
