45 new tasks, with 2 APs. But nothing on main host.

Strange....I got 58 tasks, and only 1 is CPU-work. Never seen that before.

That is a strange one I have never deciphered. Why one host will ask first for cpu tasks before gpu tasks, and another host will ask for nothing but gpu tasks to completely fill the gpu cache before sending a single cpu task. And a different host will get both cpu and gpu tasks in each request. And all hosts are asking for the maximum number of seconds for each task type for the complete cache allotment when completely empty.

BOINC client can exhibit strange and mysterious behavior that is beyond the ken of mere mortals. Ha ha LOL.

If the splitters being offline allows the purgers and deleters to start removing validated tasks from my account, I am all for it. I can't access any host now because of the large number of entries in the database for each host.

The RTS queue is over full. I think too many are trying at once.

Eric posted about the issues in News if you want to know what was going on.

The staff lets the splitter throttling mechanism go dormant lately after an outage and build up more tasks in the RTS queue than the normal 640K that is the upper limit of the splitter throttling mechanism.

To satisfy all the hungry and empty hosts begging for work after a Seti grand mal outrage.

I find that if I ask for WUs once the master database queries/sec is under 2000 that I get a better response. Hopefully enough people are in backoff mode, or already got some WUs that the flood gates will open and all the RTS will send.

Thanks to Eric (and anyone who helped) for getting the system back up. Hopefully the memory stuff will go well next Tuesday and then smooth sailing.

No, the SSP page is back into the mode where somehow certain things are getting counted twice (e.g. 28 gbt splitters running, when only 14 exist).
Sooner or later it figures it out and the number halve instantly. Been seeing these bogus numbers for a while now.

And they should stay that way until the ready to send drops another 1,050,000.

Cheers.

And SSP showing 14 channels in progress, even though all are stopped.

Over 2 million tasks are ready to send??

Even more impressive was the 2,400 WU/s creation rate that produced them all.
