It might just be, as the gulf stream at the moment keeps us warmer than we should be, that the cooler waters that will then lap on our shores will keep us comfortable as the world warms up.

Don't forget London is slightly north of Calgary Alberta. And the north of Shetland is as far north as southern Alaska.
