I set up another device last night. it downloaded task and seemed to be running at 100% on all 4 cores. then this morning nothing? boinc is running, but not processing any jobs? I then setup my Mac to work, and I get a message that no new work is available. lastly my raspberry pi has dropped to 1 core processing is this normal? 3 computers and only 1 core working, I am guess I am the error. |

The project went down but the admins are aware of the problem and working on it. |

Yesterday I put a lazy Raspberry Pi 3 to work and today... nothing... It will eventually start working by itself. right ? I have noticed after every site shutdown it takes awhile for clients to get more work. I have three just sitting around idle, been that way now for over 24hours. My faith in seti@home running smoothly dwindles every minute my machines sit idle. |

be patient, seti is a long-term project ... sometimes it needs some maintenance ... that's normal |

I have noticed after every site shutdown it takes awhile for clients to get more work. I have three just sitting around idle, been that way now for over 24hours. My faith in seti@home running smoothly dwindles every minute my machines sit idle. We have been having "more than average trouble" for nearly a week now. So often the client caches are near empty instead of being near full on Monday night/Tuesday morning (PST/US). Often, if you are running fast crunchers, it is useful to have alternate projects available. However, if you are usually still crunching tasks from Seti on Tuesday evening when it normally comes back online then you probably don't need alternate projects. The problem with running more than one project on a single machine that you want to mainly want to run Seti on is, other projects don't play well with Seti unless you spend a lot of time playing with the relative resource settings and/or mostly have them set to NNT's except on Tuesday.
