Hello, greetings to everyone, I have an inquiry because I am a little new to all this. Last night, my computer was working on a task, and it found 26 signals, in that unit of work. Of those 26 signals, 22 were Triplets. My question is this: From what number of triplets in the same task, can it be considered an interesting anomaly? Thanks, in advance, regards. |

There is no real answer to that question - it depends on how the result you've calculated correlates with other results from the same point in the sky collected on a different date. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Seti finds lots of signs of intelligent life... the signals come from Earth! There is a whole lot of radio frequency interference (RFI) that looks, initially, like it might be "interesting". That is why data are processed from different angles and by different crunchers. Welcome to seti@home! You will find many friends here. |
