One juice I've never tried is pomegranate. I'm curious about that one. Next time I'm at the grocery, I'll look for some.

I recommend POM Wonderful, (aka POM), is REALLY good stuff.

That's what I've heard. I'll report back once I've succeeded in my mission to find some.

Surprisingly, Pomegranates grow on a medium sized bush. We had one in our yard in Northern California. The bush was very prolific as was our fig tree. Our cat used to camp under the tree scaring away the birds who liked to nibble on the figs. We had so many that we gave a huge basket of figs to the Indian family next door.

Did you squeeze the fruit? I don't really know anything about it, other than it seems to be a rare juice in the supermarket. My intrigue is growing.

Nice video.

Golly, though. That's some labor intensive juice!

Perhaps you haven't eating pomegranates.
Lot's of hard seeds in them. Actually more seeds than juice in them.
But the result seperating them is quite rewarding.
Now I get summerfeelings at grandma's place:)

No, I've never met a pomegranate in person.

Well, I'm not an instant fan to pomegranate juice. It tastes a little like cranberry juice, but it's not something I think I'll crave. It has a heavy mouth feel. It isn't light and refreshing to me.

It is photogenic, though, in one of my mother's delicate cordial glasses -

Here's two pictures I just took on the kitchen counter -

I prefer hibiscus tea to to pomegranate juice,
although when it comes to eating what they're
made of, pomegranates win every time :)

They really are among my most favourite of
favourite fruits. One can last hours and hours,
which might be why they remind me of when
life was less complicated and we could afford
to while away time in the canopy picking fleas
off one another*

I recently discovered I like oat milk though.

*that might just have been me of course

Moomin posted a very educational video about the pomegranate fruit and how to open it and juice it. I have a friend who has eaten it, and she swallows the seeds. I'm not into that. So far, my only contact is with the juice in my pictures above, and I think I'll let it stay that way.

I love orange juice, and oranges to eat if I can find a good one, but that's hard in my neck of the woods.

I just took a picture of the juicer we bought when we were down in Florida, in 1976 -

Cranberry juice is good. As for OJ. I have had it in almost all containers. Glass, plastic, metal and of course Tetra Paks.
Now grapefruit juice is a bit of an acquired taste but if it is not too tart it is good.
