After 19.5hrs and 2 sunrises Qantas lands historic non-stop flight from London to Sydney with 1.5hrs of fuel still onboard. Cheers. |

Some things in life are bad. They can really make you mad. Other things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristle, Don't grumble. Give a whistle. And this will help things turn out for the best. And ... Always look on the bright side of life :) |

If life seems jolly rotten, There's something you've forgotten! And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing, When you're feeling in the dumps, Don't be silly chumps, Just purse your lips and whistle -- that's the thing! And always look on the bright side of life |

Love this. Sweden doesn't have any cash anymore. So we use debit cards instead. But what? Apparently we don't speak Swedish here anymore. Today the machine said "Enter pin code" then "Purchase approved" instead of "Ange pinkod" and "Köpet godkänt":) |

LOL:)Love this. Sweden doesn't have any cash anymore. So we use debit cards instead. It's a conspiracy to get the whole world speaking English. ;-) LOL We Scandinavian people already do have a high proficiency in the English language. But that doesn't mean that we stopped talking Swedish, Danish or Norwegian. And there are some here that speak Swedish but not having a high proficiency in English. If you ask a Swede what "Purchase approved" means you wouldn't get many correct answers:) |

So once we see the right words we'll be able to tell where the conspiracy originates from. ;-) LOL'cause 'dem colonials got rid da peerages! It's funny I understand "Old English" quite a lot. Today we understand American English a lot more. Not English English:)We all labour/labor with some humour/humor to have spelt/spelled correctly in English. And while travelling/traveling to another English speaking Country. We should recognise/recognize the differences :-DDepends on whether it's spelt right or not. :DIt's a conspiracy to get the whole world speaking English. ;-) LOLWhich English? Cheers. |

I'd go for the Babel Fish. Why have an inanimate object stuff in one's ear when when one can have a live organism communicating with you brain directly? Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Anyone seen this on their android phone? happytoco.com No I won't put up an active link to it, I suspect it's linked to malware I defeated with Malwarebytes, I also have AVG and Kaspersky. I've been trying to eliminate it as it sometimes auto loads in a browser, meaning I did not load it nor do I want too. I have 3 anti malware programs, none could touch this, I've cleared the cache several times and restarted the phone. Lastly I reset the connection, one step short of a factory reset in hopes of stopping that "happy" site from coming back. I don't even have a default browser anymore, I do have the Bing search app that is a browser. And yes I have the Edge browser which is just for junk searches and is otherwise not used beyond Microsoft Rewards. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |
