in case some of you missed it first time around :) I like the photos :)

here is an other photo of USA and Canadian border that runs right thru the Library,
to the left of the blue line on the floor of the Library is the USA territory,
to the right of the blue line on the floor of the Library is the Canadian territory LOL ;-)

below is the border line on to street USA and Canada LOL . . . next to the side walk is the official boundary marker Canada and US.

Stanstead, Quebec, Canada and Derby, Vermont, U.S.A

Cheers,

This man thought he had a ‘few’ snakes under his home. It turned out to be 45!

When this homeowner two hours west of Fort Worth started having problems with his cable reception last week, he crawled under his house to see what was going on.

He quickly found a “few” snakes living under his home between Albany and Baird and called Big Country Snake Removal, according to the Buffalo Gap company’s Facebook post.

“Due to the high winds, their tv/cable was acting up, so a gentleman crawled under to see what was going on,” Nathan Hawkins, the company owner posted. ““He saw a ‘few’ snakes and quickly crawled out.”

That one seemed strangely familiar, and sure enough a lot of news-sites covered it this time last year.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/schools-removing-analog-clocks/

Snopes covered it in May 2018, and came to the conclusion that it was "mostly false".

I just noticed this:
CPU type GenuineIntel
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2603 0 @ 1.80GHz [Family 6 Model 45 Stepping 7]
Number of processors 4
Operating System Linux
2.6.32-754.12.1.el6.x86_64
BOINC version 7.2.33
Memory 15.5 GB <<---<<<
Cache 10240 KB <<---<<<
Swap space 3.91 GB
Total disk space 22.94 GB <<---<<<
Free Disk Space 18.01 GB
Measured floating point speed 1.28 billion ops/sec
Measured integer speed 3.51 billion ops/sec

16 GBytes RAM! The first computer I ever used had 32768 words (six 6-bit bytes per word) of RAM.
10240 KBytes of cache! IIRC, when I got stuck writing some code for an 8086 processor, it had 8 bytes of cache.
22.94 GB Total disk space: The first computer I ever used (an IBM 704) did not even have disk drives. The first disk drive I ever used on a machine I had control of (I had two of those drives) was the size of a top-loading washing machine, spun at about 2400 rpm using three-phase electric power, and held 40 Megabytes of data.
