Parents lose lawsuit over destruction of son’s porn stash
GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (AP) — A man who sued his parents for getting rid of his pornography collection has won a lawsuit in western Michigan and can seek compensation.

U.S. District Judge Paul Maloney ruled in favor of David Werking, who said his parents had no right to throw out his collection. He lived at their Grand Haven home for 10 months after a divorce before moving to Muncie, Indiana.

Werking said boxes of films and magazines worth an estimated $29,000 were missing.

“There is no question that the destroyed property was David’s property,” Maloney said Monday. “Defendants repeatedly admitted that they destroyed the property.”

Today is World's First Website Day!
On this day in 1990, the world's first website and server went live at CERN. The first website began as a simple page of links that allowed a group of scientists to share data in the confines of their laboratories. And as you know, since then the Web has become an inextricable part of the lives of billions of people!

Today's Inspirational Quote:
"Anyone who has lost track of time when using a computer knows the propensity to dream, the urge to make dreams come true, and the tendency to miss lunch."

Heading to Florida soon... Don't forget to ask your waitress "What's do you recommend on the menu today?"
Pythons May Slither Onto Florida Restaurant Menus
Turns out python may be the new chicken in the Sunshine State, because the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Florida Dept. of Health may give the green light to make the slithery creature a menu item in restaurants and at home.

I know pythons are reptile number one on the hit list for termination with extreme prejudice. The snake is eating all the native species in the Everglades. So why not have it on the dinner menu or as a pair of new boots.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission encourages the public to remove or report wild pythons when they're spotted.

There was a power outage here at 6:48am PT, why? Someone thought there was a fire in the area cause a fire truck was in the park before 6:48am, I called SCE and got the power restored as there is not a fire within 150 miles in any direction and the outage was promptly rescinded at about 8am. In the desert fires don't spread far since it's largely flat out here and so We are not supposed to have power blackouts or shutoffs due to fire, I've lived here since July 2004.

I was pretty gobsmacked at 20:05 this evening. Mobile rang, saw the number so ignored it. London No at that time of the evening?
Had to be scammers so did my usual, google the number. Got surprised on seeing that the number had numerous reports with very few negatives. Most were saying genuine number from Amazon.
Yeah right!
Logged in to Amazon & sure enough, delivery left with neighbour..
Amazon did e-mail at 17:18 stating delivery today, but who sits in front of their e-mail account waiting for an e-mail?
So why gobsmacked?
I only ordered the kit at 10:24 this morning & the estimated delivery date was Wed.
Not bad for standard delivery (free}

The Moog rear strut that I bought from Amazon arrived via a UPS crewed Yellow rental truck today, one down and one to go. Planned obsolescence, lovely...
Asap I'm getting the loose fuel line behind the engine fixed and the struts installed, if I have enough left I'll get a new windshield to replace the cracked windshield.

That's My Xmas.

Wonder if they thought they we're auditioning for the 2020 Darwin Awards ceremony?
The End of 'Jackass' Franchise? Stars Hospitalized After Treadmill Stunt Only 2 Days Into Filming
Knoxville and Steve-O, according to a video update from fellow cast member Bam Margera, managed to hurt themselves during a stunt where “the two were jumping on a full-speed treadmill while wearing ‘band equipment,’ i.e.: tubas.” Neither was seriously injured, for what it’s worth.

This was a multi-country scam ring including USA and India.
Ever had a bogus call from someone claiming to be the IRS? A tax scam ringleader just got sent down for 20 years
The man who headed an international criminal call center racket that conned Americans into handing over tens of millions of dollars in the belief they were being chased for money by the US government has been jailed for 20 years.
