Today's Inspirational Quote:
"Halloween was confusing. All my life my parents said, 'Never take candy from strangers.' And then they dressed me up and said, 'Go beg for it.' I didn't know what to do! I'd knock on people's doors and go, 'Trick or treat.' 'No thank you.'"

Ravenous’ cannibal fish found washed ashore in Texas likes luring prey to their death

The sargassum fish isn’t the biggest or toothiest predator in the sea, but it makes up for it with stealth, trickery and sometimes betrayal.

“Using its ability to change color to camouflage with its surroundings, the sargassum fish is able to stealthily snatch unsuspecting prey from the water,” PINS said. “It is also known to be a cannibal and prey on its own kind.”

‘Catastrophic’ fire destroys entire holiday season of smoked turkeys at Texas company
Greenberg Smoked Turkeys says the Friday evening fire at a shipping facility in Tyler destroyed its inventory and ability to ship products this year. The turkeys are a popular holiday dish for many families in Texas.

The company is offering refunds for all orders after Nov. 6.

“We are thankful this occurred after hours and no one was injured!” Greenberg Smoked Turkeys posted on Facebook. “We are already in the process of rebuilding and will be back stronger than ever in 2021.”

must see, I'm not a golfer but wow!
In a time-honored tradition, golfers in the Masters field during their warmup rounds at Augusta National do their damndest to skip their ball across the water on the par-3 16th hole to see how close they can get to the pin. In doing so on Tuesday, Jon Rahm happened upon one of the most preposterously unlikely hole-in-ones you'll see.

For those that use Google's file save service there's a bit of a change on the way which you may have missed:

That's very true.

And a good example of the emphasis of Marketing and 'branding' destroying all useful functionality.

Finally the perfect combination!
Waffle House Is Getting an Official Beer—and It Smells Like Bacon
"Waffle House Bacon & Kegs" is a collaboration with Georgia’s Oconee Brewing Company.
Waffle House Bacon & Kegs—a 6.5 percent ABV red ale—is more than just a catchy name.

I was watching tv and they were trying to make a decision about a beer flavor. And they decided bacon was it. So they used a flavor infuser and stuffed it with bacon. The beer mingled with the bacon before being bottled.
