Some thoughts.
For some unknown reason people not from the Nordic countries call us Scandinavians.
Now that is term that probably the roman Pliny the Elder coined about 2000 years ago.
However we who live here doesn’t use the term Scandinavia. Only when speaking with foreigners:)
And Scandinavia is not the same as the Nordic countries.
Perhaps it's the same as those living in the Baltic states that doesn’t call them self Balts.
Or those living in the Balkan states would call them self Balkans.
But then those living in the US call them self Americans. Now I’m getting confused:)

For two years No B-day dinner, Can't get the parts to rebuild a Rig. But By Golly if I can keep My last 2 Rigs Running I'll have 20 active S@H Years come February and that's made things Worthwhile to ME!!!

How should one describe those from other Countries or descendants of all other Countries now living in the United States of America? Perhaps Stater's :)

Now I'm even more confused. Aren't indigenous Americans called Indians?
And who came up with the idea to call a country "United States of America"? That would be like someone came up with something like the "European Union". Oh. some think there is a such country:)
As for USA. Why is it not called "Yankeeland" or something? Didn't the Yankees win the war?
Sweden was once divided in Svealand, Götaland and Gotland. Svealand won and after that Sweden became Svea Rike, Sverige.

Actually both cars are in Sweden according to the licence plates. I don't know about export version. Who want's a car with a retractable roof mechanism – also known as "Hide-Away Hardtop" in Sweden:)

It's not yet summer, much of the country still in drought, and there are more fires & damaged & destroyed houses & other property.
This is going to be a really, really bad summer.
