I just noticed this:
CPU type GenuineIntel
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2603 0 @ 1.80GHz [Family 6 Model 45 Stepping 7]
Number of processors 4
Operating System Linux
2.6.32-754.12.1.el6.x86_64
BOINC version 7.2.33
Memory 15.5 GB <<---<<<
Cache 10240 KB <<---<<<
Swap space 3.91 GB
Total disk space 22.94 GB <<---<<<
Free Disk Space 18.01 GB
Measured floating point speed 1.28 billion ops/sec
Measured integer speed 3.51 billion ops/sec

16 GBytes RAM! The first computer I ever used had 32768 words (six 6-bit bytes per word) of RAM.
10240 KBytes of cache! IIRC, when I got stuck writing some code for an 8086 processor, it had 8 bytes of cache.
22.94 GB Total disk space: The first computer I ever used (an IBM 704) did not even have disk drives. The first disk drive I ever used on a machine I had control of (I had two of those drives) was the size of a top-loading washing machine, spun at about 2400 rpm using three-phase electric power, and held 40 Megabytes of data.

Two for one posting...

Legally blind man helps Fort Worth police officers subdue suspect during struggle
Jim Walker, 57, a legally blind disability counselor, said he was nearby with his wife and his service dog, Cassie, when the struggle broke out. The officers were acting in a professional and responsible manner and did not need his help, but he decided to help anyway, Walker said.

... Walker helped disarm the suspect and then got on top of him, holding him down while the officers secured the gun and took the two suspects into custody, Woolbright said.

A Man Called The Sheriffs Department In Oregon To Report A Burglar. Then This Happened....
Oregon police responded with guns drawn after a woman reported a burglar was locked in her bathroom. Instead, they found an unlikely suspect: a trapped Roomba.

Parrot detained after alerting owners to police drug raid

A green parrot was taken into police custody after trying to stop a drug raid, repeatedly shouting, “Mama, police!” in Portuguese as officers closed in on the home of two alleged crack dealers.

The lookout parrot was apparently in situ to alert its owners to the presence of law enforcement and attempted to compromise the raid, which took place in northern Brazil.

Well if that's what the cops in Brazil said it must be true.

Not ready to eat insects yet. Not saying that I have accidentally swallowed a flying one.

An impressive effort.
First race victory since having both legs amputated after a crash two years ago.

Monger was injured in a Formula 4 race at Britain's historic Donington Park circuit in April 2017, two weeks before his 18th birthday.
The young driver, nicknamed Billy Whizz, crashed into the back of a stationary car at almost 200kph.
…
Racing in the Euroformula Open series — a feeder series that allows young drivers experience on the pathway to Formula 1 — Monger surged from 11th on the grid to claim victory in wet conditions at the Pau Grand Prix in France.

Oh dear. Did you swallow a spider to catch the fly?

They reckon us non insect munchers eat at least a kilo of insects in our lifetimes.

Just don't sleep with your mouth open :)

However many of us including vegetarians scoff down many a crushed beetle when we eat food with strong bright red colouring (cochineal.)

Anyway Admiral I'm sure you have had a nibble or two of a juicy weevil in your hardtack once in a while.

Plenty of protein.

People would be horrified to know the things they actually consume.

Yeah. It is not palatable to know how many bugs or pieces of bugs your government allows in the food supply.

Extra protein to make it match the contents label.
