I am running Seti@home on a Mac Mini, under latest Mojave. I have recently returned to participating in Seti@home since upgrading to a new computer. I have downloaded and installed the latest BOINC software and the program seems to be running and working OK. However, when I look at the Transfers window in Boinc, it is always empty, No transfers are being shown. When I look at Tasks, it appears to be completing tasks to 100% anmd loading new tasks to replace completed tasks. However the Transfers window shows no record of activity. Is everything working OK, Am i actually completing and uplading completed tasks? And if so, should the Transfers window be recording and showing the work units I have completed and uploaded? I am pretty sure this is how it used to work in the past. I would welcome some comment/explaination of what is going on here. Thanks |

The transfer window only shows tasks that are in the process of being uploaded or downloaded thus spends most of its life empty. The place to see what is running/waiting to run/waiting to report is the "tasks" window (provided you are "show all tasks" mode - that is the button at the top showing "show running tasks") Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |
