Message 1975020 - Posted: 13 Jan 2019, 2:30:10 UTC - in response to Message 1975019.

I'm not really that interested, I've plenty of stations on My phone already.

I have my own station on a pole in my backyard because I like to know exactly what the conditions are here at my house, and it's fun.

The only one I saw on amazon was the Ambient Weather WS-8478 Falcon and is Solar Powered and pole mountable, it is capable of being accessed by the Weather Underground via wifi(2.4GHz), I'd have to have someone else mount it and the cost is not within My current budget for the moment, maybe after June 2019 provided I can get Calfresh(SNAP) benefits, I'll be eligible on June 1st for maybe $140-$170 a month, which will help My income, for the moment I'll pass.

This is the one I have -

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074ZNJYT8/ref=dp_prsubs_1

It syncs up with Weather Underground.

The one I was looking at can use this $18.99 pole:

I'd have to contact the maker if the pole would work with that station you use or not, for the moment I've saved both.

Reading the full description a mounting bracket and hardware is included in the kit, so all one needs is a 'man on a ladder' with a drill and screwdriver.

It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring.

Yep more rain for the desert, so far the gas furnace still works, but I have the electric heater waiting in case the East(Ill) wind knocks out the gas pilot light again.

Don't forget to turn off your outdoor spigots from inside. I just realized I haven't done mine yet. There's two valves downstairs in the basement.

Here in the winter, one faucet is left on to prevent the pipes from freezing, a trickle is good enough.
