I finally got seti running on my Radeon GPU with a custom compiled seti app but still need some help. I want to run seti on both GPU and CPU but can't make it work. The GPU app runs with the following app_info.xml:

<app_info>
</app>
<file_info>
<name>setiathome-8.18.x86_64-pc-linux-gnu</name>
<executable/>
</file_info>
<app_version>
<app_name>setiathome_v8</app_name>
<platform>x86_64-pc-linux-gnu</platform>
<version_num>818</version_num>
<coproc>
<type>ATI</type>
<count>1</count>
</coproc>
<avg_ncpus>0.1</avg_ncpus>
<max_ncpus>1.0</max_ncpus>
<file_ref>
<file_name>setiathome-8.18.x86_64-pc-linux-gnu</file_name>
<main_program/>
</file_ref>
</app_version>
</app_info>

I have a copy of the generic CPU executable from the setiathome site "setiathome_8.00_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" but I can't find any way to run it alongside the executable "setiathome-8.18.x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" that I compiled for OpenCL.
Do I need an app_config.xml for this? Any help appreciated, thank you.

I did too. Could you post the solution for my edification?

Thank you.

This is my app_info.xml. It also seems to be important to run "update" from "boincmgr" before restarting or else the executables will get deleted.

I appreciate your willingness to post it. Even though the details cause much of this to go right over my head. Since too often I end up reading documentation that goes right over my head, it is frustrating.

Thank you.
