So I know there was a hiccup with the servers after the maintenance downtime yesterday, but I have not been able to receive many GPU (s@h v8) tasks. Right after the downtime I was getting one at a time, but now it appears I've been dry for a little bit. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

No I've been getting tasks regularly today.

Now that I think about it, I was able to download several AP7 GPU tasks once the servers came back online. Those tasks were immediately aborted because I have exclude_gpu for AP7 in my cc_config. Perhaps the servers are not sending me a stack of s@h v8 GPU tasks because of the ones that were aborted? It was only four tasks, but still.

The bigger question I have is why if I have excluded the GPU for that application I'm still able to download them...

Good question and one that has caused a bug to be raised with the developers. You are not the first to see this flaw.

. . Do you have "any other work if tasks unavailable" ticked?

Two things in conflict...
If you have the "get data for other apps" option on the website ticked then you will be offered (AP-GPU) tasks, this is because the servers know nothing about your locally set "don't do (AP-GPU) tasks".
Not exactly a bug, just an annoyance.

Ah, that makes perfect sense! I do have accept other work checked. I just unchecked it now. Thanks!

I was referring to an actual bug in work_fetch.cpp that DA still needs to fix. Glad to hear it was just a settings issue.

A shortie storm is brewing and RTS buffer is dropping quite fast. Results received last hour has increased to >150k. I hope that the servers will hold.

Splitters and deleters are struggling, Ready-to-send has stopped falling, but it isn't recovering either.

. . I'm still wondering when someone will give the stuck Blc34 tapes in the splitters a kick (072-075 and 083-086)??

They're not stuck Stephen, it's just that the splitters are working on other files.

If you zoom in on the SSP you'll see that. ;-)

Cheers.

. . I'm pretty sure those tapes are stuck. They are completed, have been for weeks, many tapes have been split after them, but they are still showing in the splitters. Que?

. . How does one zoom in on the SSP? The only options I see are to download the page in .xml format or to check host connection status and that data is 6 years out of date ...

Deleters still struggling, but at least the splitters have picked up the pace again.
