In theory it should work - the spec sheet says it supports CUDA, and it is based on the Kepler series of GPUs so there's a fair chance. One thing intrigues me is that it appears to contain 4 "independent" GPUs which might mean a single K1 would be detected as four GPUs, but, as has already been said "not very fast ones" - probably akin to a GTX710 or GTX720.
If I had one sitting around I'd give it a go just to see.

If you'd like to contribute more to SETI, you could upgrade your MacPro to El Capitan, install a nVidia Maxwell card, and run the CUDA 8 Special App.
It looks as though that is a MacPro 3,1 similar to mine. That model will run the CUDA 8 zi3v App around Twice as fast as any of the OpenCL Apps, and works without any of the problems the CUDA 9 Apps are having in Sierra & High Sierra. The SSE4 CPU App bundled with the CUDA Apps would also be about twice as fast as the Stock SETI CPU App on your machine. I stopped running the CUDA 9 App on my 3,1 for now, but you can see the results here, https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=8097309&offset=60 The CUDA 8 App is about 50% slower, but still twice as fast as OpenCL on the same hardware. You could go with a Mining board running Linux as in the other thread. The Current CUDA Special App in Linux is about 3 times as fast as the OpenCL App on similar hardware.

I can put a one slot Gpu that do not need extra power

A GTX750ti would fit -just be careful that the motherboard can supply the 60w required - not all "proper" server motherboards can and I don't know Apple products that well.

The majority of GTX750(ti) do not have the sockets for external supplies - I think you'd be looking at a GTX730 or similar - I know most server MoBo are very limited on the power they can supply to the PCIE slots - I've smoked a few in the past just putting in hardware RAID controllers and the like :-(

The problem is you need to Update to at least Yosemite to run a Maxwell GPU on a Mac. It would be better with El Capitan since you could run the zi3v version of the CUDA App. If you can't run Yosemite, I wouldn't even bother with it at all.
