I have 4 to change still, making DST permanent would be nice, but it means Federal Law needs to be changed, so far only Florida and California have asked from what I read about Prop7.

Actually, I think the clocks should go the 'other way' and keep Standard Time year round... Either way, NOT having to keep changing the clocks twice a year would be a VERY good thing.

Actually, in Arizona, that's the way it has been, for a long time... they never bought into Mountain Daylight time... Arizona keeps UTC-7 year round.

I have over two dozen time pieces I manually adjust twice a year due to this silliness; although when I start to think about it, I don't which is sillier - the back and forth time change or the fact I have so many clocks!

But ... my cat did not forget what the real time was due to good internal Kitty Klock, so I was woken up at the same time anyway LOL.

My phone had the wrong time on automatic, so I set the setting to manual to get the right time this morning, just now I had to set the time setting back to automatic as the time was wrong again, ah the joys of smart phones.

Well, reminds me of a trip a few years ago into areas where cell coverage was spotty at best on 395. One of the few cell towers was misconfigured and was saying it was east coast time in California. Didn't make any call through it, but I can imagine that might create some funny things on the billing end.

I don't have any problem remembering that it's time to change the clocks (on Saturday night), and the next morning I don't have any trouble remembering that my clocks still need to be changed, but it usually takes me a couple of days to get them all changed.

CA enabled the Legislature to make DST in CA permanent as soon as the US government changes the law to allow for permanent DST in the US if the states want that, current law says Standard Time can be made permanent, just not Daylight Savings Time.
