I have a GeForce GTX 960 on one PC and a GTX 1060 on another PC. Both are running Windows 10. My current NVIDIA driver is version 390.65. I am using Lunatics x41zi win32 cuda50 to process my GPU units. NVIDIA released a new video driver, version 416.34, on October 11. I am considering upgrading to this new release. Does anyone know if the new release will work for SETI GPU processing with my configuration? |

Yes, should work fine for both cards. But you are not using them to their fullest. It looks like you are using the Anonymous platform. Maybe used the Lunatics installer??? If so you need to rerun the installer and choose the SoG app instead of the CUDA 50. The SoG is MUCH faster than the old CUDA 50 app. The SoG app on the 1070 would process a gpu task in 4-8 minutes compared to the hour plus the CUDA 50 app runs them in. Thank you for your advice, Keith. I am currently running Lunatics v41. I see there have been a few updates to the Lunatics app. Which Lunatics release do you think would work best for my rigs when I change to the SoG app? |
