The recommended version of BOINC has been raised to 7.14.2 This is for Windows and Mac OS X (64-bit Intel) Version 10.6.0+ Bill F |

And Android is still 7.4.53 recommended; I know of a few that have been running 7.14.1 during the past week. |

Yes, but it's buggy and therefore not ripe for recommended release. A next test version is on the horizon. |

From the release notes- Update NVIDIA GPU detection for recent models.That line simply refers to the 'GFLOPS peak' calculation we discussed here in the RTX thread. Without the update, BOINC would try to fetch twice as much work as you really want. That's not a problem here, because you are protected by the task limits and the ultra-laid-back deadlines. But at a project like GPUGrid, with multi-hour runtimes and 5 day deadlines, you might embarrass yourselves. |
