North Korea breaks all communications with South Korea, states state news agency KCNA.
"We have come to the conclusion that there is no need to sit face-to-face with the South Korean authorities and there is no question to discuss with them, as they have only aroused our anger," according to KCNA.
The instruction comes from the ruling committee of the Central Workers Party of Korea, following a meeting attended by, among others, the high-ranking politician Kim Yo-Jong, sister of the dictator Kim Jong-Un. It states that the attitude towards South Korea "should be fundamentally changed to that of an enemy".
The reason why contacts with the neighboring country are broken is said to be "hostility" from South Korean, writes KCNA.

The alleged hostilities are currently balloons, started by activists and exiled North Koreans with attached anti-government propaganda leaflats and capitalist seductions such as chocolate etc.

Oh. Those balloons:) South Korea had also very loud loudspeakers playing songs and speeches to annoy the North Koreans at the border. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-43958366 Those were taken down two years ago though. I think it's very funny but of course it's not so diplomatic to do that and in fact making the situation worse.

Possibly not. Catching it may warrant reeducation by lead poisoning.

North Korea threatens to send army into demilitarised border zone
North Korea's army has warned it is ready to enter the demilitarised zone dividing the two Koreas.
The threat is partly in response to defector groups in the South sending propaganda material north.
Over the weekend, Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, said she'd ordered the army to prepare for the step.
And the military now says it is ready to "turn the front line into a fortress and heighten military vigilance".
Tensions between the two countries have been rising for some time over the cross-border leaflets, usually sent via balloons.
South Korea's defence ministry on Tuesday responded to the renewed threats by saying it was working with the US to closely monitor military moves in the North.

NKorea blows up inter-Korea liaison office, raising tensions
https://apnews.com/56f2aa6105f3b3c57b3ce9f788298dab
North Korea’s official Korean Central News Agency said the nation destroyed the office in a “terrific explosion” because its “enraged people” were determined to “force (the) human scum and those, who have sheltered the scum, to pay dearly for their crimes,” apparently referring to North Korean defectors who for years have floated anti-Pyongyang leaflets across the border.
The North also said it has cut off all government and military communication channels with the South while threatening to abandon bilateral peace agreements reached during North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s three summits with Moon in 2018.

North Korea threatens to send army into demilitarised border zone

... Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, said she'd ordered the army to prepare for the step...

Very interesting...

She has been completely out of any and all news until recently.

And now she is being reported as giving orders to the army...

Very interesting...

That is one very 'severe' woman to watch.

Kim Yo-jong has been on the news for at least two years by now.

Possibly...?

It could be that the big Kim is more quickly killing himself with his own overweight largess...

If the reports are true for how much alcohol he drinks daily, then he should be suffering deadly liver damage about now. His chain smoking will not help either...

Or are things turning more difficult for him on his homeland and the lower ranking henchmen are getting more potent to get him?

Life is difficult at the top of a corrupt dictatorship!

All the more so in troubled times...

Could being killed by a relative be described as a "medical event"?
Probably put it down as heart failure, as (most) people die when their heart stops.....

If Kim Jong-un or perhaps it's now Kim Yo-jong say it then it must be true.
I think they have even asked the bears and other animals that all were crying and weeping when Kim Jong-Il died.
And the answer was "No Covid-19 here".

North Korea fires two cruise missiles, South Korea says

Seoul, South Korea (CNN)North Korea fired two cruise missiles on Tuesday morning, according to the South Korean military.
The launch is being analyzed by the intelligence authorities of South Korea and the United States.
It comes as North Korea has ramped up its missile tests this month, saying it will bolster its defenses against the US and evaluate "restarting all temporally suspended activities," according to state media KCNA.
