North Korea interrupts nuclear talks with US according to NK chief negotiator Kim Myong-Gil at a press conference outside the country's embassy in Stockholm.
- The negotiations did not live up to our expectations and were canceled. I am very disappointed, Kim Myong-Gil told the South Korean news agency Yonhap.
"It is now up to the US to resume the dialogue," says Kim Myong-Gil.

And that "Stable Genius" thinks he is more than other one to deserve the Nobel Peace Prize that is given "to the person who has done the most or best to advance fellowship among nations, the abolition or reduction of standing armies, and the establishment and promotion of peace congresses."

N.K. will become a nuclear nation under v2.0's term.

They already are. What will happen under v2.0 is the first country to do an atmospheric test since the ban.

Methinks that would make China very unhappy.

Maybe I should've said, "N.K. will become an officially recognised nuclear nation under v2.0's term.", because at the moment it isn't yet officially recognised as such. ;-)

Hum, maybe the trade issue goes away with V2.0 saying you can have DPRK for a trade deal?

Oh dear .
North Korea’s chief nuclear negotiator Kim Myong Gil warned Sweden to “behave itself” and not behave like a back-seat driver.

Sweden has been a Protecting Power for the US since 1995, and it has consulates representing, for example, Canada, Australia and the Nordic and Baltic countries in North Korea diplomatic relations...
Sweden has invited the US and North Korea to a new meeting.
But Sweden's attempt to mediate a dialogue between the US and North Korea is unnecessary, since the countries already know each other's positions. North Korea's nuclear negotiator Kim Myong-Gil said this.
On Thursday, Ambassador Kent Härstedt stated that Sweden still continues the dialogue with the US and North Korea - despite criticism from North Korea.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/02/asia/north-korea-projectiles-intl-hnk/index.html
Seoul, South Korea (CNN)North Korea has fired two unidentified short-range projectiles from an area near the coastal city of Wonsan into waters between the Korean Peninsula and Japan, South Korea's military said Monday.
The objects were fired at 12:37 p.m. Korea time and estimated to have a flight distance of 240 kilometers (149 miles) and altitude of 35 kilometers (22 miles), South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement.
Japan's Defense Ministry said it could not yet confirm if the projectiles landed inside its territory or exclusive economic zone, and said no damage had been reported to aircraft or vessels in the area.
Weapons experts say test-firing missiles is an important part of improving their accuracy and reliability. North Korea conducted several launches in 2019 as diplomatic efforts between Pyongyang and Washington began to falter, but the country steered clear of testing intercontinental range missiles or detonating nuclear weapons underground.

North Korea has fired suspected cruise missiles, South Korea says

Despite a possible coronavirus outbreak in North Korea, the country has reportedly fired several cruise missiles off its east coast on Tuesday.

The projectiles were presumed to be cruise missiles and were fired from the North's eastern Kangwon province on Tuesday, according to a statement by South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff.

North Korea has carried out short-range missile and weapons tests in recent weeks amid stalled nuclear talks with the U.S. Most of the weapons tested, however, were ballistic missiles or long-range artillery shells.
