In light of the GDPR how does one delete their SETI/BOINC account and stored information? I have had two requests. Other BOINC projects?
There was talk about a delete option I can not find it.

BOINC (website) has an option to delete your account next to the change password link. Einstein has one at the bottom right corner of the Account -> Credentials page. I couldn’t see one for Seti though.

thanks the requests were for SETI.
So it looks like they have to go to each project and BOINC.
I know some of the third party stats sites were working on it as well.

I've asked the admin here, he answered:

Primarily it's a question of my bandwidth to verify it before it is made active. We have a bit more intertwined a database than the BOINC forums do, and I haven't verified code that was actually written won't don't bad things.

Hello,
Has there been any development concerning how to make the SETI@home project compliant with the "Right to erasure" described in Art. 17 of the GDPR?
Because someone should have really figured this out by now...

There is now a how-to "delete account" announcement on the main Seti website page.
It looks like it is Seti specific.
