In light of the GDPR how does one delete their SETI/BOINC account and stored information? I have had two requests. Other BOINC projects? There was talk about a delete option I can not find it. BOINC (website) has an option to delete your account next to the change password link. Einstein has one at the bottom right corner of the Account -> Credentials page. I couldn’t see one for Seti though. BOINC blog |

thanks the requests were for SETI. So it looks like they have to go to each project and BOINC. I know some of the third party stats sites were working on it as well. Hello, There is now a how-to "delete account" announcement on the main Seti website page. It looks like it is Seti specific. Tom A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association). |
