Bitcoin GPU-based Mining Machines good for BOINC / SETI?

I tried other ports and got the same results from two others. I dunno what the limitation is. I'd like to get ANY mining rig working will a full set of cards. I have as many as I want. If I can get more than one rig working with 10 or 20 cards between the two, that would be great! I have an alter ego use case for electromagnetic simulations. To be honest mining boards aren’t known to be the most robust, they are built with pretty low end specs most of the time. Many people have problems with them. Some are just bad or defective. If you read some mining forums you’ll have no shortage of people having problems, while others seem to work just fine. Don’t read too much into it. And what’s your ultimate goal?
