Good morning:

I have recently acquired a refurbished computer, ID 8563014, which usually needs about 4,697.42 seconds to complete a task. I have also an ancient laptop only for travelling purposes, ID 8548600, which needs about 19,788.35 seconds.

When I list all tasks two of them appears erroneously as executed by my ancient laptop (tasks IDs 6901424200 and 6901424136), but if I list tasks sorted by computer, then they are assigned right. Nevertheless, in the column with header "Application" still can be read "SETI@home v8 v8.05 i686-pc-linux-gnu" (the app in the ancient laptop) and not "SETI@home v8 v8.00 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" (the right version).

It has happened when I connected the two computers simultaneously to the net, in order to load tasks in the laptop for next week. We use a traditional DSL connection using PPP, and dynamic IP. The net has been working fine all the time, and there haven't been IP conflicts. NAT appears to work fine, so I think there could be a problem with the app tracking. Somebody knows a trick to avoid such situation? Of course, this is a minor problem, because the tasks are correctly reported, but it could affect the app statistics.

Gratefully, Manuel.
