I wonder if any of the spoiled pigs, who were kneeling during the Anthem the other day, were kneeling for the 13 people murdered by illegal firearms in Chicago, in the span of 2 days?
Mopar, or NO car.

Methinks and they state they are protesting institutional racism, and the data readily validates their claims.

Why do people want to insist that people are not doing exactly what they say they are doing and them condemn them for something that they are not doing? What fear drives them to this? Is it something to do with skin pigmentation?

I find it incredible that some of those from the great land of so called freedom wish to stop some others from expressing their right to that so called freedom.

Hypocrites is what they always turn out to be.

I understand why national flags are a feature of international competitions. And anthems too. But at other games of a regional nature? Not so much.

I mean, if they are there, then the event is already politicised surely?

I wonder if Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Evgeni Malkin from Russia is chanting and gesticulating "Trump is Great" or "Trump Sucks" in front of the crowd...
Or Putin:)

BTW Canadian posters. O Canada before NHL games inside of Canada, with both privately owned teams from Canada. Must also be considered political and must stop. Correct?
No.
Even though I'm not a Canadian...
Canada have 7 teams and US 24 teams in the NHL.
The ownerships of them are mostly companies from their own country.
For example. New York Rangers is owned by The Madison Square Garden Company (James Dolan, chairman)
NHL's TV partners are.
Canada: Sportsnet, TVA Sports
United States: NBC/NBCSN, NHL Network, Univision.

You're skating on thin ice, Clyde:)

As I said, with added emphasis and additions: "O Canada before NHL games inside of Canada, with both privately owned teams [and not government sponsored] from Canada [7 teams]. Must also be considered political and must stop" :)
Eh? Now I don't understand what you are saying.
What political motive should a NHL team have?
For all I know the motive is that teams want to earn more money.

And I never seen a hockey game where players are kneeling when an anthem is played!
Yes. I have seen many including Sweden vs US in a World Cup game live at location.
When I see that Trump want obedience I immediately come to to think of countries like China, Russia and North Korea!

There's a big difference between kneeling down and bending over.

Why not stop the playing of all National Anthems before all private sporting events in the USA, Canada, et al?
The sharks that lead you do not want any interruptions to their power base or income source. :-)

For all I know it's only the US that are playing the national anthems at private sporting events.
Here we do it only in the Olympic Games and World Cups that is not even a private sporting event.

Include Canada with the USA.

My first mention. Was asking if any Canadian posters agreed that, as many said about the USA. Should Canada also be included in the non playing of their National Anthem before NHL games. When they are played by Canadian teams in Canada.
Ok. America then:)
What happens if you don't know the lyrics like Trump?
