Both Zalster and myself were noticing a lot of -9 overflows that blow through in 15-20 seconds. The special app isn't that fast on 1080's. I see something similar here, about 1 overflow per each 10 WU crunched at least on the latest WU's. But they overflow in 5-7 secs. Weird since i use a slower GPU than yours. |

i got quiet a few shortys that bombed with 30 spikes but with the amount of wu's we blow through atm i expect that to go away soon average turnaround time on my 1080's is about 130 seconds for normal wu's I came down with a bad case of i don't give a crap |

i wonder what happened seems to be a time glitch with the servers Something like that happened to me the other day, some 180 WUs got expired a some secs later. There's still 4 WUs in my error list left https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=8494061&offset=0&show_names=0&state=6&appid= Otherwise the host works perfect. |

I got a few of those overflows on my system as well, they took around 30 seconds on the 1070's. I had as much a 1/3 of a page over 3-4 pages report in as early overflows around 1000 UTC. I've seen quite a few late overflows also. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

They gave us more data files. blc05 for the same day we have been working on for a while. Hopefully we have enough to get us through until Monday morning. No reason to panic. |

and we're back . . Pretty much. 4.5 to 5.5 is the best I can pin it down to. It started about 3:40pm UTC and was over by 9:10pm UTC. Stephen :) |

Not sure how much to expect in added tasks done over the usual average. Though it seems like the usual average has been increasing from 1000 channels (rough estimate) done per day to closer to 1300 channels per day. I like to have a general notion so I can PANIC at the appropriate time. It is just my way of being part of the community :-) Any guesses?? |

. . My guess would be to add at least 10% above 'normal'. So I would estimate more like 1500 channels per day. So with 10858 channels to split I think we are still safe until the next outage :), a good 7 days I would think. The weekend forecast is AOK. Stephen :) |

. . Not to mention that most of the participants are among the top crunchers in the SETI volunteerforce. So what happens when mostly top crunchers step it up for the 'race'? Competitive types digging out and dusting off old retired machines to get that extra edge ... :) Stephen :) |

Looks like the splitters struggled to get going after the outage again, at least they're going nicely now. Still no sign of the Replica. Grant Darwin NT |

Just got a no tasks are available at BOINC startup. Weird. [Edit] Hit or miss now on getting work. 3 - 4 requests get nada and then finally a request gets 20-30. Not enough to replace what is reported. Caches falling on my fastest crunchers. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |
