New thread just in time for the WOW Crunching event.

Which means that I have enough RAC to start the thread again.

Hopefully we'll get a few more files loaded before the weekend.

Has anyone heard on news on why the Replicas has been down for several weeks now?

Definitely. We're going to need more files if we are to make it through the weekend.

Since it appears all your other systems are OK, and it only occurred on that one system, then the problem is with that particular system. I'd check the date & time on that system- if it was out by several weeks or more, then was set to the correct date, then the WUs would have been past their due back date as far as that system was concerned.

EDIT- one of your systems does have 7 WUs that did actually time out, not returned by deadline.

time's not out of sync i checked and it just randomly decided to dump the wu's and it instantly grabbed new ones and kept on crunching happily

i write it off as a one time glitch i guess ...very odd

Looks like the lab elves were busy and loaded up some new files to keep us busy over the weekend. Thanks.

From what I've seen it looks like the average result returned per hour are somewhere between 111 and 113,000 results per hour. It will be interesting to see whether the results per hour increase for the wow event

It's got to be higher because there currently are a lot of "noisy" work units.

I wondered Keith if there was "noisy" work around thanks for the heads up.
I ran 10 work units that ran with the stock app for around 6 minutes each normally tasks run for about 7 minutes on my 970. I don't think any of these bombed out because of noise

There are also some BLC shorties in the mix now, any those go through even fast than Arecibo ones.

Hadn't noticed them myself, just the longer running BLC04s, 7min 30s instead of the usual 4min 30s to 5min.

. . Oh good, I was afraid it was just my rigs. I have been seeing a significant number of Blc13 and Blc04 tasks that are taking 50% longer than normal. I thought I had a problem ...

Both Zalster and myself were noticing a lot of -9 overflows that blow through in 15-20 seconds. The special app isn't that fast on 1080's.

Just had a look through my results list, and there are a few noisy WUs there- 1min 30s to 2min and then exiting due to -9 result_overflow, 30 spikes.

Seeing some 3:45 BLC13 tasks. That is a long task on the special app for 1070.

Judging by the deadlines the system has assigned them, the blc02 and blc04 tasks with AR of 0.025 and above are expected to run slowly.

If I had a task run at that speed on my 970 I would consider it to be fast. Unfortunately Keith I cannot run the app you are talking about as I run windows 10. I am aware there are many speed advantages to Linux but I am not making the switch.

Either the "noisy" work has passed all the server just does not want to give it to me. I see currently the return rate is over 120,000
