I've completed all of Daedalus', (MacPro 5,1), and renamed the computer Andromeda, and copied the BOINC Data Folder to the Desktop. Then I renamed the computer Andromeda and rebooted. Then copied in the BOINC Data Folder from the Hackintosh, (old Andromeda), into the proper location and overwrote the Folder. Then reinstalled BOINC. BOINC is NOT picking up where it left off on the Hackintosh... But, what is the File that I have to Edit and Increment the Number of times of "Contact" by one??? What else do I need to do to pick up where the Hackintosh left off? The Hackintosh ID is 7952666. I need to get this ID onto the MacPro 5,1. Thanks, TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... [Update:] I just found out what the computer and BOINC have done to the 5,1... The rename of the computer took, BUT, BOINC refuses to accept the BOINC Computer ID of the Hackintosh on the 5,1... Instead the ID REMAINED 8508902 - "Daedalus'" ID... HELP!!! :-O TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

[Update 2:] OK - Found what I was missing... The ClientState.xml File... I copied Hackintosh-Andromeda's file into new Andromeda's location, reinstalled BOINC, checked to make sure the Projects' Folder Data was still intact, Launched BOINC and All the WUs came up in the Tasks' List!!!!! :-) New Andromeda is LIVE!!!! :-) I think I'm going to leave this alone now and NOT rename the system back to Daedalus... Why not count it up on the server instead, TimeLord04? Here some line 14505 in a single log of mine, and wondering how far it gets, for next perhaps allowing it to go. |

DAMN!!!!! I was messing around trying to tweak TBar's OpenCL App information 'cause I wasn't getting any CPU Work at first. I managed to get new CPU Work, BUT started receiving "Waiting for shared memory" message after copying in the Anonymous Platform CPU Ver 8.03 exe and Appinfo.xml... I then tried messing around to get rid of that Msg, AND ALL MY WORK DISAPPEARED... :-( FRAKK!!! This is what I was trying to avoid!!! Now I have a bunch of Ghosts! :-( TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |

I'm sorry you are having problems TL. I'm waiting to get some thumbscrews, a Noctua 3000rpm fan, and 3 sata power extension cables for 2 new PCs that I'm building, I'm hoping to get the gas furnace repaired or the 3 will be My backup heat source this winter. Good luck TL. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

The Andromeda Profile on the MacPro has work again, all new... All the old Work Units are now Ghosts... :-( I REALLY wish someone would come out with Lunatics for Mac! Tweaking Lunatics RARELY ended up leaving Ghosts. EVERY TIME I manually manipulate Anonymous Platform stuff on Mac or Hack something weird happens and I lose work! Anyway, I've now decided to leave the Andromeda Profile permanently on the MacPro 5,1. This means that the Daedalus Profile is dead, as I cannot have both profiles on the MacPro, and I cannot seem to resurrect the Hackintosh on the new PC Hardware. Prometheus works fine in Win7 Pro on the new PC, so my current plan is to move the working GTX-1050 from the MacPro to the new PC and install the second 1050 there, too. For the MacPro, I will replace the 1050 with the one working GTX-750TI SC from the original Hackintosh/Andromeda. New Prometheus is now on a Gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3 MOBO with an Intel i7 7700K at 4.2GHz and 32GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance RAM and a Corsair HK7501 750 Watt Platinum PSU. Prometheus is off currently, until I can make the GPU modifications and changes. These GPU changes will mean pulling the GTX-760 from Prometheus and keeping it as a spare GPU. I've finally retired Exeter, the Win XP Pro system on the AMD A6-6400K APU and ASUS MOBO. This leaves me with only two real crunchers, the MacPro/New Andromeda, and the i7 7700K/New Prometheus. My dad's system on the i7 7700 only crunches a couple hours at a time WHEN it is on - which is rarely, now. Working Computer IDs: 7952666: Andromeda - MacPro 5,1 Dual Xeon 2.4GHz CPUs on High Sierra 10.13.6 7440554: Prometheus - Inactive for now, and system hardware NOT yet Updated on BOINC... New hardware: i7 7700K on Gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3 MOBO on Win7 Pro x64 7066606: Farragut - Dad's i7 7700 on Gigabyte GA-H270-HD3 MOBO on Win10 Pro x64 Recently Retired IDs: 7301566: Exeter - AMD A6-6400K APU on ASUS MOBO on Win XP Pro x64 8508902: Daedalus - Original MacPro Profile TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... [7-23-2018 - Update:] Made changes to New Andromeda and New Prometheus... 1.) Pulled EVGA GTX-1050 from New Andromeda and replaced with Hackintosh-Andromeda's one good EVGA GTX-750TI SC card. 2.) Pulled EVGA GTX-760 from New Prometheus and installed GTX-1050 from New Andromeda. Had to Reinstall, (Clean), NVIDIA Driver 388.13 on New Prometheus. Both systems continue to crunch on all three GPUs. :-) TL TimeLord04 Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9! Join Calm Chaos |
