Does anybody in the cafe (or do you know someone in a different project) that lives near to Byron.

Byron Leigh Hatch @ team Carl Sagan

His last post leaves us wondering:

thank you every one I am so sick I do not have a family .... I can barely type this post I will call ambliance and go to hospital ..... to live or to die ...... byron

He does have family. He has peopple that respect and care for him for more than a generation. He has us.

Anyway if you are in Canada or know others through the projects that are close to where he is can you ask if they would give him a call or drop in on him.

To the Mods. I prefer this thread deleted as soon as somebody picks up the call and is able to speak to Byron on the phone or visit him at home or hospital.

Message 1944812 - Posted: 16 Jul 2018, 22:13:05 UTC

Byron, my Auntie Marilyn was diagnosed with congestive heart failure several years ago. Her cardiologist did not think that a pacemaker would help. He did not suggest any surgery or any intervention outside of the medications she was already taking. He just said that she should enjoy life and not worry too much about it.

She is currently 91 years young. She has good days and bad days, tires easily, but still manages to live at home with my Uncle Al, eat out occasionally, go to family parties etc.

My neighbor Ernie also lived with congestive heart failure for many years. The biggest effect it had on him was that he was frequently tired and had to rest when he was doing things. That made him angry because he always had so many projects that he wanted to do. He was a retired contractor and loved to stay busy working on his home and the homes of his children. Anyway, Ernie was nearly 92 when he passed away.

Wishing you peace and more good days than bad ones.

Byron,
I don't envy your health but certainly do your health insurance. When I had a similar condition several years ago the total charges came to over $350,000 US out of pocket. I was lucky in that years before I had run the hospital's campaign that raised over $75 million and donated the land valued at $3 million for a new hospital. They comped me.

Not easy having the police knock on your door ;)

... but we got worried about you.

Glad to see you are doing better than you thought.

I must say I am proud of the community for gathering around you.

I praise Candorchasma and Tut as the warmest of souls especially.

You know Byron you can't get away from us that easily :)

Yes keep us in touch with how you are doing either here on the forum or via PM to your mates or any one of the community.

Byron. This thread was only meant to be short term way of finding out if you were OK. You can keep it if you like or if you prefer it to be deleted please inform the mods.
