::waves back:: It's so very nice to hear that today is not a good day for flies. In fact, I'll no longer go out of my way to open a door and let them out! |

Charles, when I worked in security, I once offered my excuses to a contractor for my propensity to use dark humor while discussing difficult situations. His reply was to the effect that the moderate use of it was a sign of good mental health. He should know, he was a psychologist. In a different situation, I found myself hospitalized and had to be immobilized in a room where some flies were annoying the hell out of patients, and all I could do in self defense was to pathetically blow wind to chase them away when they landed down to boldly explore the few exposed patches of skin I had. Exasperated, in the presense of nurses, I had to do what was probably a good rendition of the creature in Cronenberg's film The Fly, croaking: "Do you know what happened in The Fly ? Surely you've seen the film, right?" Soon afterward, for a reason, they fixed the broken window screens and placed fly traps around. Sadly, it was also the end of a promising acting career. The point I want to make is that I know the absence of flies is a positive medical observation, but can we count on you to give us more health reports regarding your progress toward a full recovery ? I've placed bets on a horse and I intend to win them all. Now hang tight, and do the homeworks the medical staff will give ya, will ya ? =:) hello everyone ::waves:: Apr 3, 1999 - May 3, 2020 |

Yes, keep the flies in their orbital holding patterns. And make them find a new landing field elsewhere. |
